About this tool
The tool drops the picture and encodes the audio track as MP3 with FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. 128 kbps suits speech, 192 kbps suits most music, 320 kbps is the highest quality. The first run downloads the encoder, about 30 MB, which your browser keeps afterwards.

Is my video uploaded?
No. The audio is extracted in your browser.
Does it work with audio files?
Yes. Audio files such as WAV, M4A or OGG can be converted to MP3 as well.
Why does the first run take longer?
The encoder has to download once. After that it loads from your browser cache.
